The Beginning . . .

We met while working at GGC. It all started when our wonderful co-workers cancelled on us for a group outing to Jillian's. We had a lot of fun.

From Kim's view:
I remember meeting Brian the very first day at work at GGC. I thought he was pretty stand offish and full of himself. I was eventually relocated to a new office (storage closet) that was next door to the refrigerator that Brian (caffeine addict) visits frequently. This allowed us chances to become friends.

Not quite sure when the friendship turned into more. Maybe it was all the good conversations we had (well, still have...). It's really hard to find someone that is a good conversationalist. I can't believe I broke my rules, 1) no dating co-workers and 2) no geeks. At least Brian is not a gamer.

From Brian's view:

Standoffish and full of myself?  Who in the...okay, so, she's probably spot on.  And yes, I am a caffeine addict.

It was absolutely the conversations that brought us together.  I was having a rough time, and she needed a mark for her dares and bets.  Yes, the woman loves playing games with people and making money off of them.  Anyway, as we talked, we realized that we weren't as different as we thought.  And even though I've never generally been attracted to Asian women, I found myself greatly so, particularly as we got stood up by our workmates at Jillian's, and we went anyway and had a wonderful time.
